The NRF Orphan Care scheme helps with food costs, school, transport, and housing repairs. In addition to practical help, the mental health benefits experienced by orphans are also highly rewarding. Many of these children understand that there are people on the other side of the world willing to help them even though they have never met them. This gives them hope for the future, and the world around them.
Donors typically set up monthly standing orders and our staff on the ground take care of monthly distributions.
We offer different types of Orphan Care:
When you choose full sponsorship, you’ll be allocated an orphan and will receive regular updates, including photos. You’ll also be able to correspond with your sponsored orphan and even send gifts for Eid and birthdays. Becoming a sponsor is an incredibly rewarding experience. By providing financial security to an orphan who has lost their only means of support, you’re making a tangible difference in their life.
We understand that not everyone can commit to a full sponsorship, which is why we introduced our Co-sponsorship programme. By teaming up with another donor (we can find your partner donor), you can make a significant impact in the life of an orphaned child who is waiting to join our Full Sponsorship programme. For those who wish to sponsor a child but cannot afford the full sponsorship, co-sponsorship is a great option. By donating as little as £20 per month per orphan, you can contribute to the full sponsorship of an orphan.
If you’re interested in making an even bigger impact, consider family sponsorship. For £200 per month, you can sponsor a whole family of 3-5 orphans and their mother. Many widows and their children are living in extreme conditions, with no income or means to earn a wage. Your donation will provide substantial relief for these families, preserving their dignity and covering basic needs such as food, education, clothing, and healthcare.
Orphan sadaqah is a powerful way to make a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable children who have lost one or both parents. By giving sadaqah for orphans, you can help provide them with the basic necessities of life and support their education, healthcare, and overall wellbeing. At Noor Relief Fund, we believe that every child deserves a chance to succeed in life, and through our orphan sadaqah programme, we are committed to making a difference.
Eid is a joyous occasion that is celebrated by Muslims all around the world. It is a time for spreading happiness, kindness, and love. One of the most beautiful ways to spread love during Eid is to give gifts to orphaned children who otherwise may not have the same opportunities as other children. This can help to bring immense joy and lasting memories to their Eid celebrations.
Your sponsorship helps provide an orphaned child with a better life and a brighter future. Without the support of caring donors like you, many of these children would be left without food, shelter, or education.
When you sponsor an orphan, you are investing in their future and empowering them to break the cycle of poverty. You will receive regular updates on your sponsored child’s progress, including reports on their health, education, and wellbeing. Your support provides your sponsored child with the following essentials:
We make sure they get nutritious food and they no longer have to drink dirty water.
We make sure they have clothes for their safety and to survive harsh winters.
We provide them with shelter and also build houses and refurbish damaged houses.
We try to break the poverty cycle by giving them access to education and sustain their own.
We provide them with medical care and health check-ups for the orphan and the family.
We provide emotional support by giving orphans counselling and mental healthcare.
